OK, I’m a creature of habit – I like what I know and I know what I like. But sometimes I leave my comfort zone and today was one of those occasions as my usual mountain bike route was not available to me due to the MOD range warning flags still being up this afternoon. So, I did something I’ve not done in over 25 years of living in Ash Vale… I crossed the road to Brookwood and explored some fabulous trails between the Alton trunk and Farnborough main train lines.

Literally on my doorstep..! A great mix of gravel paths and woodland single track, mostly easy going but a few bits slightly too technical for a roadie like me 😉 – Great fun nonetheless. I shall return to explore further!
